Splashing Harperman

I wonder why Allen and Grandma Ware are standing so far back from Harper while he is taking a bath???
Maybe it is because he is soaking the kitchen.
Splashing Harper-man!

We tried the big bath tub and Harper just cried. We tried putting the little bath tub in the big bath tub and Harper still cried, so we are still in the kitchen sink. The tugboat doesn't quite fit, but Harper still loves playing with it.

The Park with Grandma

We had a showing for our house today (Yea!), so we had to get out of the house quick. Harper, Grandma Ware and I decided to head to the Hampton Hall playground. We had a great time in the warm weather. Harper even made a friend who was visiting her grandpa.
Look Emily-Cassie even made it to the park and in a picture.
We had a little picnic at the park, because we didn't get to finish Harper's dinner before we had to rush out of the house.

Ware Christmas

The Wares came down on Sunday, unfortunately it took them almost twice as long as usual to get here because there was so much traffic. At least Harper was up from his nap when they got here to make the trip worth it! We opened our presents after Harper went to bed. Grandpa Jim kept up the tradition from his father by giving away our presents before we opened them. Okay, so it only happened once, but is was too funny! Mary Lou had just finished telling the story about how Paw Paw would do it and then Jim did. Jim didn't realize that Mary Lou had wrapped our presents separately and he was talking about the other present so it wasn't really his fault!
Allen and I got some great presents-a tripod for our video camera, new pots and pans (that we hopefully won't ruin like our old ones) and a hotel stay in Boone, NC (with or without Harper our choice). Thanks Mary Lou and Jim!Harper got to play with his new walking toy from Aunt Meredith the next morning.
What is in this bag and how do I get it out of there?
A truck-so fun!
More bags-those are easy to open!
Harper is good at throwing and kicking his new ball toys!Grandma reading Harper his new book
Aunt Meredith and Harper
Jim and Meredith had a quick trip-they weren't even here 24 hours. Meredith had to get back for work and Jim needed to get back for the bathroom remodel. Mary Lou is staying here to watch Harper while Allen and I go to the MSU bowl game in Orlando for New Years!

Harper's Christmas

Harper was too fussy during our Christmas to open any presents himself, so we gave him the one present that we bought him this morning and took a few pictures. We are waiting to see what everyone else buys him before we get him any other presents. Thanks to everyone for making Harper's first Christmas so great! We are looking forward to the Ware Christmas this weekend!
Don't even think about it, Cassie. This is mine!
Harper did have as much fun with the paper as the present, as to be expected! This smile is for Daddy!
Since we flew back from Michigan, we had to leave a lot of our presents there. Jenny is driving home next week and will be bringing them. I tried to fit as many small toys in our suitcases as we could. Here are some pictures of Harper playing with his new toys.
Lewis and Emily gave him a talking book
They also gave him this bath toy
Meme gave him this guitar
The Hatts gave him this stacking toy
The Putnams gave Harper this truck before they left-no point in driving it back and forth to Michigan!
I would like to disclose an apology for the amount of pictures in the Christmas posts, but that is what you tune in for, right-pictures! I don't know why we had such an issue with red eye-Sorry! Also, Harper has his first real cold, so he keeps his mouth open real wide to breath-poor guy!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day we went to the Hatts to see their presents from Santa. We all enjoyed playing with their new gear!
Nathan and Allen really have a lot of fun togetherJenny was trying out the Hannah Montana stuff Nathan got Rock Band and everyone got a turnEven Marybeth!
Everyone was worn out by this time.
Harper wore Nathan's old Santa suit
One last nap with Meme before we head back home
