Harper Turns 6

Oh my, how is Harper already 6.  We sure did have a great day celebrating Harper.
Allen made Harper a special H pancake.
He chose to go play pirate putt putt after church.

Holden pretended the clubs were ski poles
 Hudson's cheese face

Harper even got a hole in one!

After lunch, we had a quick stop at the beach.
The boys LOVED playing in the sand

Harper was actually sick on Friday, so the family missed the dress up dance at Harper's school (I still went to collect the money, since I am PTO treasurer).  Grandma had brought the family Wizard of Oz costumes, so we dressed up and had the dance at home.

Monday I brought Dirt in Worms to Harper's class

Harper was so excited to buy a skateboard with his birthday money!

We are so very proud of Harper.  He is such a good kid.  He is well behaved, follows the rules, a good student, a great memory, nice to his friends, loves to cuddle, loves video games, animals, playing sports and being outside.  He is always up for a new adventure.  Here are his stats:
Height 46 inches (50%)
Weight 43 lbs (40%)

Beyblade Party

Harper is super into Beyblades, so when he wanted a Beyblade birthday party I was a little nervous.  But thankfully, it was on Pinterest and Amazon.  A Beyblade is like a top, they spin and battle and the last one spinning wins.  It is also a TV show.
Harper and I had so much fun making the decorations-Beyblades out of paper plates, gift bags and the V.I.P passes

 Love that smile
More battling-Harper said that was his favorite part of his party
We also had Beyblade pinata, which got a little crazy with 25 kids!
 My Beyblader!
What a great party!  It was a little crazy with 25 kids and 20 adults, but I think everyone had a fun time.  Who knew that everyone we invited was going to be able to come!

New Patio

With all the busyness of this week, we also decided to have a patio put in!  The timing was actually really great, because it would be done for Harper's party. We still have a few more projects for the backyard that will take a couple more weeks.
