Easter Sunday

We had a awesome day celebrating our risen Lord!  I love that we have such an amazing group of church family to celebrate with us.

Spring Break at Home

Friday we took the older boys to the Heritage.  Jasmine babysat Hudson.  It was a rainy day, but we had fun and all wore our rain coats.

After naptime we dyed our Easter eggs.  The Qtip filled with dye was great to use.

The boys also got haircuts and Hudson is getting more comfortable walking
They wanted mohawks since their hair was shorter to spike!
Easter Bunny.  Hudson wouldn't go near him and Holden only did for candy!
We then headed to storytime at the local book store

I can't believe Holden sat and listened the whole time.
We then headed to the library for some new books and to play for a bit.
The boys wanted to ride their bikes through the huge puddles in our front yard.

I literally had to pour the water out of Holden's boots.  And they both went straight to the shower!
Silly face!

Harper had fun getting creative.
Holden had fun putting his fingers in the dye!

Church's Easter Egg Hunt

Our church hosted a big Easter event.  There were egg hunts, bounce houses, a petting zoo (with a baby zebra), pony rides, hotdogs, etc.  I don't think they were expecting so many kids (over 600 people!).  The egg hunt was pretty crazy, with lots of crying kids, but they were quickly stuffing more eggs and dropping them!

The event ended in a downpour, but the boys were the last ones to get on the pony rides!

Easter

We had such a great and busy Easter. This year has been so fun teaching Harper about the Resurrection of our Savior. He was really listening and repeating the story. He loved going through the Resurrection Eggs. Harper left his Easter basket on the front porch. The Easter Bunny was smart and moved it to the back porch so animals wouldn't eat the candy.

We rushed to get ready and headed to the early church service
After church we went to Lewis and Emily's for lunch
After lunch we went to Hampton Lake. They have an annual Egg Hunt. We scored this year, there was an area for 4 and under and there were only like 4 kids in it. Harper probably got 40 eggs! There was also a visit with the Easter Bunny.

After naptime, Allen and Harper went to the pool. Holden and I met them at the playground later.

We ran out of time on Easter to dye our Easter eggs. So we did that on Monday night! Harper keeps asking when we can do it again!
