Cassie's Crate

Cassie doesn't use her create anymore. Jasmine's dog, Lily was staying with us, so she was using Cassie's crate. I guess Harper isn't used to having a crate around. He thought it would be fun to hang out in for awhile.

Allen's Birthday

Today is Allen's 32nd birthday! We had just gotten back from Michigan so we just went to Moe's to celebrate. Harper wasn't cooperating for the pictures, but they are entertaining!Harper and I are so lucky to have Allen in our lives. He is a wonderful husband and father. We love him very much!

Michigan Trip

As always, we crammed too much into our short week in Michigan. We always have so many people to see and places to go! Harper had so much fun with his “friends”. That is what he called Natalie and Nathan. He always wanted to know where they were. I think they enjoyed playing with him too!

Allen, Harper, Jasmine, Cassie and myself headed for Michigan last Sunday afternoon. We decided to stop and stay with Meredith. It is nice to break up the trip and we could get haircuts! We all know that Harper really needed one! Mary Lou also came to spend the night. Unfortunately, Harper didn’t sleep well. He went to bed at 11 and woke up at 3 am. I was nervous for how the next day in the car was going to go. Harper did great. He took a few naps and only whined a couple of times. We got to Grand Blanc in time to see Nathan’s last baseball game. He did awesome and it was good to be there for it.

Tuesday was a catch up day. Meme had to work so we headed to the grocery store and just relaxed. Then at night I headed for a girls night out. I met my college friends-Mary, Christine and Amanda for dinner in Clarkston. It is always so great to catch up with them. Allen took Harper to the concert in the park in Grand Blanc, along with Meme, Jasmine, Amy, Nathan, Natalie, Marybeth and Mackenzie.

Wednesday Harper and I head to Mary’s house, so that the kids could play. Mary and Christine both have boys about Harper’s age. Now they also have daughters about 6 months old. Harper was a little shy, but he enjoyed being around the boys. It was also Jasmine’s birthday, so she got spoiled by Meme.

Thursday we had breakfast at Jasmine’s favorite spot, Sophia's. We then rewarded Harper with a trip to the playground. Harper thought he was pretty cool walking across this dinosaur all by himself!
Thursday night was time for Natalie’s birthday party. It was at an arcade. Harper caught on so fast to the games. He loved ski ball, but he really just liked putting the tokens in the machine.

Harper couldn’t decide what toys he wanted for his tickets, but settled on an airplane and two wrist bands.
Friday we headed Up North (Northern Michigan). We dropped Cassie off at the cabin and then headed to Petosky for lunch. We walked around the marine, took Harper to play in the water and throw rocks. Then went shopping. We stopped by Boyne City for ice cream, but no one was hungry yet.

Harper's favorite thing was the waterfall park. He loved throwing rocks in the water.
He also loved getting his feet wet.
Poppy headed up after work on Friday. He forgot his bathing suit and casual shoes. He wore some pink flip flops most of the weekend. It was good for some laughs! Saturday Amy, Nathan and Natalie joined us at the cabin. We met in downtown Gaylord for the Farmer's Market.
We also finally got the ice cream I was craving!
Natalie, Harper and Nathan posing with the bears.
Natalie and Nathan climbing on the cannon.
I know this one is blurry, but it was so funny how Harper laid down on the ground to pose. He was copying how Nathan was laying on the cannon.
We had fun going walking and swimming even though it was raining.
Throwing rocks in the lake with Poppy.
Sunday was a great sunny day, so we had fun in the pool and throwing rocks in the lake.

Nathan swimming to the raft in the middle of the lake.
Natalie looking for rocks
Harper was not interested in the dirty sand to get in the lake, but it didn't take him long to figure out how to get in the lake from the dock. He was again collecting rocks to throw.
Harper is completely into doing things himself. His newest is climbing stairs. He makes us wait at the bottom until he goes all the way up. When he gets to the top, he says "Now it is your turn".

Monday everyone headed to work, so Allen and I relaxed in the pool at Meme’s. The kids came over after work for more swimming.

The drive back wasn't too bad. Harper got a little antsy, but he did really well. It rained almost the entire second half.

The Move

We survived the move. It was much harder than I was expecting. We have a bunch more stuff than I thought. We definitely need to do some purging before our next move! Harper did great, but he did more entertaining than I was able to give him. That just meant that I had to work like crazy during naptimes! Now we are getting ready for the trip to Michigan!

Ultrasound

We had the 20 week ultrasound. We didn't find out what we are having. Everything looked great with the baby. I will post the picture once I dig the printer out!
