After Christmas Michigan Fun

I am too overwhelmed with the amount of pictures that we took of Christmas to work on those posts. Keeping tuning in for more updates. That will be before this post so be sure to scroll down!

We were the crazy people that went shopping the day after Christmas. Harper fell asleep on the way to the mall and actually stayed asleep during the transition to the stroller. There were so many people out that we didn't even want to wait in the 30 minute lines to buy anything. Jenny got some books and we ate some pretzels and headed home.Harper thought this wagon was fun to ride in. When Amy got tired pushing/pulling him around, he did it himself.

When we got to Michigan they had snow. Then it rained and it washed the snow away. Then we got more snow. Gotta love Michigan winters! Jas took Harper outside to play in the snow and burn off some energy. It is hard to be inside all day when you aren't used to it.
He still wasn't a big fan of the snow. It is a lot of work to get him ready for the 5 minutes that he stayed outside!

Christmas Day at the Leets and then back to Meme's

We headed to Marybeth's for lunch on Christmas Day. That is our third Christmas for the day (if you are counting). It was great to see family, especially the ones that it had been too long since the last visit. They even got to meet Harper for the first time.
The only family picture of the week
Natalie and Jasmine-they were buddies the whole time they were together
Harper loved throwing his Uno Moo characters on the hardwood floor. Marybeth sat under the table to collect them for him-wasn't that sweet!
Nathan "enjoyed" getting beat up by his older cousins-Caleb,
David and
Jasmine.
Harper enjoyed playing with Natalie-watching DVDs,
making up their own games and
playing real games.
Poppy and Uncle Danny
My Grandma Lancaster
Of course Harper got the camera again. He really enjoyed taking pictures of grandma. I think that he liked her reactions. I think grandma enjoyed it, just the flash was blinding her.
After the fun at Marybeth's, Harper took a quick nap with Meme. Then the Hatts came back to play.
Aunt Amy, Natalie and Nathan had fun playing in the tent
Nathan lost another tooth!
Harper had fun taking pictures with his new camera and Nathan took pictures of Harper with our camera!
More pictures that Nathan took

Christmas Morning at the Hatts

After Harper opened his Santa presents, we headed to the Hatt's to play with their toys from Santa. It is always fun to be a kid again!
Jasmine and Natalie playing
Harper eating some breakfast
Nathan and Allen playing Legos
Me and Harper
Jenny wearing Natalie's kidsized Snuggie, I guess it was made to fit some big kids. Nathan got one too.

Santa Claus Came to Town

Santa came to Meme and Poppy's house in Michigan. This is what we woke up to Christmas morning.
Harper just started opening his presents.
He had to get every piece of paper off of the presents.
He loved going through his stocking. These are table tennis paddles, the perfect size for Harper.
Slinky
The only picture of him looking up from his toys
A collection of some of his Christmas presents. This boy was surely spoiled this year! Thank you to everyone for making this Christmas so special! We appreciate everything.
I have some videos to upload, but I haven't watched them yet to decide which to post. I will do that later!

Christmas Eve

I will start by saying sorry about the amount of pictures and the red eye for all of the Christmas pictures. That is what we get for letting Harper play with the camera, he turned the red eye off! I don't feel like editing every picture, so sorry.

We started off Christmas Eve by attending a church in Clarkston. We then loaded everyone into a 15 passenger van for a trip to Crossroads Village. It is a old fashioned town that you can walk through and have an old fashioned experience-making candles, drinking hot chocolate and even ride a real train. On Christmas Eve they close the park and you can drive through and look at all the decorations and lights. But it is usually freezing, so we enjoyed being in the "warm" van. If you look closely you can see all the little heads from the way back!
Christmas Eve is our big present night. My Grandma Stone and Uncle Mike come for dinner and presents. We open all of the family presents. It is pretty overwhelming. This year was a little more organized doing one present at a time.
Nathan and Harper
Aunt Amy and Harper
Elyse and Roy
Harper loved opening his presents. Natalie loved helping everyone, especially Harper!
Natalie was excited about her Moxie girls!
A little confused about her DVD player. Although all week she ended up watching it!
The adults watching the kids open their presents
Jasmine got a teen bible, doesn't she look excited!
Nathan loved his new video game.
Natalie liked her new bag and headphones for her DVD player
Can you believe how old Jasmine is getting? So pretty too!
I don't understand her confused look, because she asked for a Snuggie!
Poppy put Harper in the box!
Harper got a race track from Meme and Poppy. He thought it was more fun to "skate" on it.
Natalie in her new pjs.
We had to get an updated picture of the kids on the stairs. They are all in their new pjs from Meme and Poppy. This really was the best one, even though Harper's eyes were closed!
