Hudson is 2 Months

Hudson is a mostly good baby.  He nurses and takes a bottle good.  He is a great sleeper, sleeping about 8 hours at night.  It is just from about 8 to 4 am.  He takes one long nap during the day and many catnaps.  His main issue is when he is awake, he just really likes to be held.  He doesn't want to be in anything-not the swing, bouncy seat, floor mat, etc.  The doctor said that babies are just really gassy and like to be held.  He should outgrow it at about 3 or 4 months.  Here are his stats:
Head 16 3/4 inches (98-99%)
Length 23 inches (42-49%)
Weight 12 lbs 6.5 oz (63-64%)

Tent

I can't tell you how many tents and forts we have made with these boys.  Tonight, they took the cushions off the couch and made another one.

North Carolina Trip

We had a great time in North Carolina.  The boys did lots of playing and I got the blog updated!  We also went roller skating.  I have to admit I was nervous, but it was easier than I thought!

Allen carried Holden around the rink a few times

Holden preferred playing in the car, so I didn't get much skating in

They also got to play in the creek
 Just love this picture

Holden just wanted to play with the display cars!
Harper packed his own suitcase and I even double checked it, but somehow he only had one tennis shoe.  His other shoes he brought were flip flops.  Luckily, Sage had a left foot tennis shoe in Harper's size in the mismatched bin.  He wore two different shoes while we were there.  We still can't find the other shoe though, so I had to buy Harper new shoes!

Christmas Day-Wares

We went to Meredith and Trent's for a wonderful Christmas dinner and to open presents.

The boys got a foosball table!

Christmas Day-Santa

Santa sure was good to the boys this year!
Harper woke up first and had to wait for us to wake up Holden.  He did get to open our present though.  A new Jeep!
Harper also got a new giant elephant!

After we opened presents, Emily, Lewis and kids came over for breakfast.  Then we packed up and headed to North Carolina.  It was nice to be home for Santa this year!

Christmas Eve

We decided to stay home this year for Christmas.  I started out Christmas Eve with a trip to Walmart with the 3 boys.  I only needed a few things.  I had decided last minute to make a real meal for Christmas Eve-ham, cheesy potatoes and broccoli salad.  We also went to the children's service at our church and an outdoor service at a friend's church (complete with smores and hot chocolate!).
