More DG Babies

We were able to get all of the Delta Gamma babies together for Christmas. Mary was brave enough to host 5 babies/toddlers and 5 sets of parents. The kids had so much fun playing together. It took a minute for them all to warm up, but by the end of the night, they were chasing each other around. We tried to get their pictures. It is so good to get together and that we are all still so close even though we live on different coasts!
Harper loved this vacuum
Adalyn-isn't she so cute!
The boys just didn't want to sit for a picture.
Harper kept laying down and Dan would pick him back up.
We couldn't even get Andrew on the couch!
The babies were happier with their moms!

Michigan Trip

We finally made it to Michigan. We ended up driving. Harper did great in the car-he actually watched some dvds. The worst part of the drive was South Carolina. We had lots of traffic. It took an extra two hours just to get to Charlotte. We got to my parent's house at 4 am on Saturday. Unlike last summer, Harper is sleeping really well (knock on wood). He hasn't been napping the best, but at least he is sleeping about 11 hours at night. Here are some highlights of the trip so far.

Amy had a birthday party for Jasmine (13) and Natalie (4).

Harper had fun playing with all of their toys. Here he is the playhouse. He loved opening the door and saying "Hello".

We got together with some college friends and their boys. We always have to take a group picture. We got to go swimming at my parent's house and then we met their husbands out for dinner.

We headed up north to my grandma's cabin with Meme, Jenny, Jasmine, Nathan and Natalie and of course the two dogs.

We had fun swimming in the pool.
Having a campfire with smores.
Superman, Batman and my red "sweatshirt"-a good night!
Both Natalie and Harper had accidents at the cabin. Natalie fell at the pool and Harper fell down the porch steps. They are both doing fine now and healing fast.Let's see-where did I leave off.

Friday Allen and I went to the Buick Open while my mom watched Harper. We met some high school friends out for dinner and got to meet Josh and Casey's son Whitman. Then we went home to put Harper to bed. We headed back out to go to Little Joe's beer tent. It is always interesting to try and remember names of random people that I went to high school with.

Saturday we went to the open with my parents and Jasmine. We then went out to dinner with the Hatts at the Elks.

We left bright and early Sunday morning. Jasmine rode home with us and Cassie had left with Jenny on Friday. The ride was pretty easy. Jasmine watched movies the whole way and Harper was well behaved. He just got whiny a few times, but who can blame him. We made it home in record time-less than 14 hours. By the way, Allen didn't let me drive either way-should I doubt my driving ability?

We had a great time in Michigan and it was great to see family and friends. I am sad that we did miss a few friends though. I always feel like I don't get to visit with everyone for long enough, but there is alot of people to see. I wasn't very good at taking pictures either.

Delta Gamma Babies

We were able to get together with some DGs at Mary's. Christine, Brian and Andrew, Amanda and Dave, Mary, Dan and Matthew were there. Thank you to Mary and Dan for a delicious dinner. And thank you to Amanda and Christine for bringing some great dishes. It was so nice to be part of a mini "Fat Fest." Here is a picture of the babies.Harper (5 months), Andrew (almost 7 months) and Matthew (almost 3 months)
