New Year's

We left Michigan on New Year's Eve and drove straight to a beach house on Fripp Island.  We rented it with 5 other families for a total of 13 kids! There was a room with bunk beds for the kids to sleep in.  We had a great time.  We played on the beach and rode bikes during the day.  Then the parents stayed up playing games and hanging out.

 We rented a house on Fripp almost 6 years ago with several of the same people

Harper was the only kid there!

And we rented a house on Tybee later that year

we were celebrating our 30th birthdays

I can't believe it took us 5 years to rent another house, hopefully it won't be that long again! It is truly a blessing to have such good friends that last through the years and through spending a few days together!

Other December Happenings

Here are some things we did that weren't Christmas related!

Oatland Island

 

 We braved the rain and headed to Oatland Island today.  It was our special outing for Holden's birthday.  We took the kids to Toddler Tuesday and it was about baby alligators.
