Hudson is 9 Months

Hudson is getting so big!  He is finally doing good sitting up.  It makes pictures so much better!

He is sleeping so much better at night!  He usually makes some noise about 6, but goes back to sleep until about 8.  He would still prefer to take 3 naps, but usually gets in 2 since we are on the go.

He eats everything we put in front of him.  He is doing awesome at feeding himself.  He got yogurt today and liked it.  I am still nursing and he gets formula in a bottle when needed.

He still likes to be held and doesn't enjoy being on the floor.  He is happy in the exersaucer for about 5-10 minutes.

He is a such a smiley baby.  He is starting to get a top tooth and his bottom 2 teeth have really come in.

Michigan Trip

This blog post is very intimidating because we did SO much stuff in Michigan, but here it goes!  Sorry for the overload of pictures!  We woke up early on Saturday and drove all day.  We got to my parents about 9 at night and let the boys swim.
Sunday we took Nathan to church, then headed back to swim.  Natalie and Harper washed my car!

Monday everyone had to work, so we walked to the playground.
Notice the stuffed animals also on this with Harper
 Hudson enjoying the exersaucer poolside.
Do you think he has enough "guys"?
We had a crazy storm Tuesday morning and lost power.  Allen and I took all the kids to the Children's Musuem.  It was really nice and the kids got out some energy!

How fun is this grocery store!

They also had fun experiments to do, this skeleton moved when you rode the bike to see your bones working.
There was an outdoor area too, Harper ate some tomatoes from the garden.  Holden loved all the trucks in the sandbox.

 Sparkler time!

 Nathan's turn for cuddles!
Wednesday Meme and Poppy took the day off work and we all headed to the Lansing Zoo.  It was the perfect size for the kids and we all enjoyed being outside!

 Pony rides!

They had a bunch of these around the zoo.  I just think the baby kangaroo is funny!

Poppy broke his elbow falling off a ladder trimming bushes.  He had surgery on it and has a cast for a few weeks.
We drove through MSU on the way home, but Holden had fallen asleep so we didn't stop.  Just a quick picture in front of the DG anchor.
Thursday we headed Up North for Camp Delta Gamma at Mary and Dan's lakehouse.  Five families reunited (10 adults and 11 kids)!  We played in the lake and went out on the boat.  Allen, Harper and Holden all went tubing, but I didn't get any pictures.  I will post when Mary shares them!

Friday the moms got to go out to lunch without kids.  We then went to the resort for Tinis and Toes-martinis and pedicures.

With 3 teachers and one Martha Stewart, the moms came up with lots of fun activities for the kids.  Bead keychains, camp journals and tie-dye tshirts!  They turned out so good (later picture).
Saturday was a chilly rainy day, so we went bowling.
Action shot of Harper

We found a green dinosaur after we were done.  I don't think Holden cared this one was pink though!

 Waiting their turns
After bowling the older boys got to play Laser Tag.  Harper loved it!

That night we had a fire and s'mores
The dads and the older kids camped out!  Holden didn't make it and had to sleep inside.
Group picture before he headed out (Allen took the picture)
Attempt at a group picture of all the kids in their tie-dye shirts
We spent Allen's birthday back at my parents house, before heading home.

Did I forget anything?  What fun-lots of swimming, playground, Children's Musuem, Lansing Zoo, boating, tubing, s'mores, sparklers, crafts, scooters, eating and drinking, bowling, Laser Tag, pedicures, playing with friends and cousins, driving.  By the way, our DVD player died an hour into the drive home, but we survived.  However, we will be getting a new one before our next roadtrip!
