Friday Fun

Allen and I took Harper to trick or treat at the library. It was cute, they had different stations where the kids were given treats. Harper definitely liked getting the treats! He kept trying to go back to the candy stations. He wore his lion costume (I had to wash his Dracula costume before he could wear it).
He hated having the hood on-this is the best I could do!
They had a Little Bear Halloween show playing. Harper was mesmerized by it.
More movie
The lollipop was his favorite part.
After lunch we went to Chick-fil-A. It was Harper's first time in a fast food playground. He was scared of the big climbing slide, but Allen went down with him and he signed "more". Friday afternoon that is the place to be. We saw 5 sets of friends there! After lunch Harper took a three hour nap!

After his nap, he had to register for the 5K Tiger Bass Run at Hampton Lake. We then played on the playground for a few minutes. Harper only wanted to climb up the slide. I had to help him half way and Allen would grab him from the top.
We then carved a pumpkin-actually Allen did all of the work. I just got the seeds out for baking! Harper enjoyed it, but we definately learned the attention span of a 19 month old. He also tried to eat the pumpkin guts a few times!

As promised-here is a picture of Jasmine as the lion-11 years ago. She was 2 and it was 1998! Can you believe it!

Palmetto Bluff Treehouse

I have seen other people post blogs about the Palmetto Bluff Treehouse, so we decided to check it out. We had a great time playing on the treehouse and then walking around the village.

The treehouse is literally built in a tree. Here are the giant limbs.

I just love Palmetto Bluff-it is so beautiful. I wish we went out there more, there just isn't much there.

Halloween Tshirt and T-Ball

I put Harper in his Halloween shirt today, unfortunately it was 85 and humid and it is long-sleeved. Oh well, we didn't go outside much!Harper is so into baseball, that I decided to get him a T-ball stand. t He loves it. He played forever when we got home. He even had to take his bat and ball with us to pick up dinner. He cried when I made him put it down to eat. He likes putting the ball on the stand as much as he likes hitting the ball!

Here is a very impressive hit!

We Got Booed

We have a bunch of houses in our neighborhood with ghosts on their front door. I didn't know what they were for. It thought maybe it had something to do with trick or treating. I have to admit, I was beginning to feel left out. Then we got a surprise on our front porch. It was a pumpkin full of candy and a sign saying you got booed. It is like a chain letter, you have to make 2 copies and leave them on your neighbors doorstep with a little treat. I was so excited! I made my copies and got my treats together, unfortunately both houses I was going to boo, already had been booed. I will have to try again tomorrow! I just think this is such a fun thing to do!

Elmo PJs

Grandma Ware mailed Harper some Elmo pjs earlier this year. It has finally gotten cold enough here for him to wear them! Harper just loves them and he is so cute in them! Thanks Grandma!

Sandbox

I have to admit that I have been addicted to garage sales! I have been getting some great toys for Harper for so cheap-legos, shopping cart, Little People, etc. It has been great! My latest find was this $2 turtle sandbox. I got the sand today and we played for a bit in the back yard. I think Harper had fun!
He had more fun dumping the sand out of the box!
