Family Pictures

Sorry no posts for awhile. We are in transition in moving. We had to be out of our rental house, but our new house wasn't finished yet. So our things are in there, but we aren't. We are staying at Allen's customers house. It is a second home for them, so it is currently vacant. But we have no internet, so I can't post.

Janet took family pictures for us, mostly for Holden's 6 month pictures (even though he was really 7 months old), right before we left for our Michigan vacation.

Here is the link if you want to check them out!

Holden is 7 Months

How is that even possible!

-Sleep is still the same. We usually have to wake him up from his evening nap to feed him and put him back to bed.

-He is doing great at sitting up. He will scoot across the room on his back pushing his feet. Trying not to encourage tummy time to work on crawling until after the move!

-He has started eating 2nd foods, which mostly just mean bigger containers and more variety. Still just sticking with fruits, veggies and grains (as per the doctor).

-The best smile ever. He is truly a happy baby and does great keeping up with our busy lifestyle!
Here is Harper at 7 months

Rain

Harper just loves the rain. Too bad we haven't gotten much of it lately. We gets to use his cool umbrella (from Meredith's wedding) and splash in the puddles. He loves to find the deepest puddles.
I just love this facial expression-I swear he is getting cuter everyday!
Our feet (pre-pedicure, I feel so much better after the pedicure!)
So excited!

The Boys

Ginger gave this cool inflated toy to Jenny. We were trying it out until she got it. It is really good for Holden to practice sitting up and not have to worry about him hitting his head on the hardwoods.
Of course, Harper had to try it out too!

Ware Visit

Grandma and Granddaddy (Allen's parents) came in town for the baptism and to have lots of fun playing. Thursday night they even babysat the boys so Allen and I could go out to dinner to celebrate our 9th anniversary.

Holden's Baptism

Holden was baptized in the May River today. He did such a good job. He only cried when they splashed him with the water. It was a great ceremony, even though it was incredibly hot out.

There were about 8 people baptized and Father Owens used Holden's banner as an example. He did the same thing with Harper's!

We had everyone over after the baptism to celebrate and eat. The kids played dress up and had a parade.

I can't say it enough how blessed we are by our friends and family. It means so much to have such great Christian examples for our boys to be raised with. A huge thank you to everyone who was able to attend the baptism!

Mary Kate's Lasts

We had a week of lasts with Mary Kate. Harper is going to be so lost without her. At least we can visit them when we go see the Wares.

Thursday we were supposed to go to the beach, but we ran out of time and decided to just head to the pool. Here they are on a lizard hunt. Mary Kate looks a little concerned.
The lizard is on the top of the chair. Harper named him Toby.
