Christmas Activities

We love starting out the Christmas season with Santa and Gingerbread Houses at Hampton Lake.
The only picture I got of the gingerbread house!
Santa picture with distracted kids!

Planning outside afterwards

Next was the Bluffton Christmas Parade.  Harper was able to be on the float this year.  Allen and Hudson walked with him while Holden and I were at the usual parade party.

Santa!

The Pritchardville float

Holden watching the parade

Harper got to watch the parade too!
Can you believe this monster truck that was in the parade!
We were so excited that the Journey happened again this year!  It is such an amazing event to help you stay focused on Jesus during Christmas.
We loved having friends join us this year too
The Wise men
Trolley ride back to the car!
We also went to storytime with Mrs. Claus
Then we saw Santa at the gas station!
We made Reindeers at Build a Bear

Washing the reindeers
Their reindeers
We made Christmas cookies for the policemen and firemen
Delivering the cookies

Harper got to spray the extinguisher
We went to Bass Pro Shop for a picture with Santa
Holden asked for a real reindeer and Harper wants a skateboard.
The boys rode the train
Such a cute picture of Hudson-so excited to be a big kid!
We also had a great Christmas party at church with this silly photo booth!
And a live nativity
 And a train ride
 And lots of friends!
We also had Christmas parties and performances at school.
Holden's class had donuts

And crafts
And singing

Hudson had crafts in his class too
and Daddy came too!
Harper also had a music performance (he is the white shirt and tie in the front row)
Sorry the zoom lens is hard to focus
The boys were silly during the performance
Holden had to wear a tie too!
Hudson loved his Santa suit
and Holden dressed up as a reindeer.
We also went to the Sandbox to hear Santa read a story and play for awhile.
Pirate Holden
All three boys flying the airplane

Storytime
They all sat and listened
Hudson not so happy
But he warmed up while he crafted

The boys gave their artwork to Santa
Harper played on the rockwall almost the whole time!
Now you can see why I haven't updated the blog lately-we have been BUSY!  I just love this time of year and all of these activities.
