MLK Parade

Allen suggested we head to the Martin Luther King Parade in Savannah.  I wasn't too sure, but we ended up having a great time and the weather was beautiful!

New Year's

We left Michigan on New Year's Eve and drove straight to a beach house on Fripp Island.  We rented it with 5 other families for a total of 13 kids! There was a room with bunk beds for the kids to sleep in.  We had a great time.  We played on the beach and rode bikes during the day.  Then the parents stayed up playing games and hanging out.

We rented a house on Fripp almost 6 years ago with several of the same people
Harper was the only kid there!
And we rented a house on Tybee later that year
we were celebrating our 30th birthdays

I can't believe it took us 5 years to rent another house, hopefully it won't be that long again! It is truly a blessing to have such good friends that last through the years and through spending a few days together!

Michigan Trip!

We had such a great trip to Michigan.  The kids sure do love playing with their cousins.  The weather was warm, so we didn't get any snow.
Grandkid picture
Meme and Poppy came them their own Kindles-so excited!

Hudson really loved opening presents

We celebrated at Marybeth's.  She made a fun game of candy for the kids
Poppy had planned some fun activities.  The first one was the planetarium.

Even big kids need naps sometimes
We so enjoyed our trip which always seems too short. The kids keep asking when we go back!
