We have three friends with birthdays in November. Three are turning 30 (Clayton, Laura and myself) and Emily is turning 29. We decided to do a joint celebration. We didn't have a weekend that all of the birthday people could attend in November, so we planned it for October. We rented a 7 bedroom house on Tybee Island. The house was super cute-it was nicknamed The Happy House online. There were 7 couples and two toddlers-Harper and Cole. We had a great time. Friday night was dinner, beer pong and a game of Celebrity. Celebrity is always played guys vs. girls and it gets pretty competitive and intense. Then there was a dance party. We have a bunch of videos, but out of respect for those in the videos, I am not going to post them on the blog (sorry).

The boys had fun playing with the Wii

Bob had Coast Guard duty on Saturday and needed to cut his hair. Erin volunteered to help and ended up cutting it shorter than expected!

Saturday was a long walk on the beach, a couples cornhole tournament and watching a bunch of football. The girls even played beer pong. It really cooled off, so we didn't stay outside for very long.

Richard even came over from Savannah to hang out (Claire had to work).

Saturday night we had a Lowcountry Boil and a birthday cake! Emily wouldn't let us sing to her since the cake said Happy 30th Birthday.

They had a mini dance party Saturday night. After all of the fun Friday night, we were all pretty tired and called it an early night. Some of the guys stayed up for some poker though.

Here is the group shot minus Bob who had Coast Guard duty.

We headed out Sunday after we ate breakfast at a restaurant on Tybee. We had a great time and are trying to plan the next time we can get away for the weekend. I know I say it all of the time, but we are truly blessed to have such good friends! Sorry for posting so many pictures!
