Sledding

Because of the snow storm, we got to do some sledding. Now North Carolina is a little different than Michigan-they sled in the street! We didn't have enough snow to sled on the grass. Also, we used Jim's sled from when he was a kid. We had a great time though. Harper never smiled, but he kept wanting to sled more! Poor kid was so bundled he could barely move!

Do you like Harper's boots? We need to get some better ones before Colorado!

Harper loved being pulled on the sled. I was surprised how well he stayed on.

We went inside for a bit to warm up. Then after naptime we went out again. The temperature had dropped and the slush had turned to ice. Mary Lou and I were too scared to sled more than once. Allen and Harper got some good runs in though.
