What a fun and busy day we had! We started out with a Easter egg hunt in the great room and opening our Easter basket. The Easter Bunny brought Harper mostly Elmo things and a few musical instruments.

A new harmonica
We then headed to church to celebrate the real reason for Easter-the risen Lord. Church was packed and it was so good for all the visitors to hear such a great sermon. After church there was an Easter egg hunt. Harper was a little overwhelmed by all of the kids and was too scared to get any eggs. After the hunt the Easter Bunny came out. Harper was alittle scared of him too.
After church we rushed home to dye some Easter eggs before lunch. Harper really enjoyed it. He made a huge mess. He liked dropping the eggs in the dye with a big splash. He also wanted to put multiply eggs in one cup. Allen had fun with his creative side-mixing colors.

After a quick lunch we headed to Hampton Lake for another Easter egg hunt (fifth one of the season, if you are counting). Harper was scared again. I think he was the youngest one there (well besides Logan who ended up in the older kid hunt). Harper didn't collect many eggs, so after the hunt, some older kids gave him their eggs. It was so sweet.
After Hampton Lake we headed home for a nap. After naptime we went to the Campbell's for a fabulous Easter dinner. All of our friends that were in town were there-Collerans, Bullmans and the Nelsons. It was a wonderful evening, but we forgot to take any pictures. Thanks to the Campbell's for hosting everyone!
