Michigan

Well we made it to Michigan again.  The older boys were awesome in the car.  Hudson was the worst and loudest, but we survived and it could have been a lot worse!  Warning-LOTS of pictures!
Our first day we headed to a park on a lake.
Riding the merry go round
These boys love to swing
Playing with daddy
Elephant seesaw
Bike riding in the woods
Hanging around
Hudson loves to ride big boy bikes
Holden's first attempt at a two wheeler.  He did great but just kept pedaling backwards and braking.
Swinging together
Everyone loved popits!
and sparklers!
Two at a time!  Holden tried and got a nasty burn on his wrist.
This is how Poppy lights sparklers
Catching lightning bugs.
Climbing trees
Then we headed to Grandpa's Tiny Farm in Frankenmuth.  It was such a cute place where the boys got to pet a ton of baby animals.
Holding baby chicks
Holden didn't want to hold a baby bunny, but Grandpa gave him one so he was alittle unsure but did great!
Of course, Harper loved it!
How excited is Hudson!
Horse drawn wagon ride where Grandpa taught us a lot about farming and told funny jokes.
Goats-they were triplets
Old barn
Attempt at all three
Holden showing us he is three, but he says three and a half
Family pic
We then walked around Frankenmuth
We ate at a brewery and Harper's rootbeer looked like a real beer!
Hotdog Stand!
Time for go karts!
Holden waiting patiently for his turn
Crazy driving!
Holden's turn!
Harper got to drive the little ones too!
Holden was so brave and went off the diving board a bunch!
Baby pool
Holden loves goggles
We got to watch Nathan's baseball game
Natalie's birthday party!
Hudson learned he really likes candy and kept signing more!
Holden had at least 2 ice cream cones!
Nathan and Holden were the sweetest buddies!
And so were Harper and Natalie
Hawaiian theme
Harper loves to set traps.  He thinks if he catches an animal, he can keep it as a pet.  It started out as a chipmunk or squirrel trap, then decided on a bunny trap.
They didn't catch anything so Poppy tricked him with this bird, but Harper loves it just the same and it now sleeps in his room!  Holden is completely scared of it!
We then headed to Mary's lakehouse on Elk Lake for Camp DG.  Allen got to be apart of the mommy/kid days since we had to get home before the other dads came for the weekend.  I don't think he minded though!
The boys loved paddleboarding
The three amigos sharing a kayak
Holden alittle nervous for the kayak
Boat ride!
Harper went tubbing
We had a rainy day so we headed to an indoor public pool.  It was a little overwhelming watching all the kids, so we weren't too disappointed that someone pooped in the pool.
Hudson wasn't into the group picture.
Silly picture
Harper's favorite part of the week is all the crafts Mary plans for the kids!  They did a bunch of tye dye-shirts, bandanas and bags, made friendship bracelets, beads, compass bracelets and painted birdhouses.
Holden fell out of bed one night and busted his lip
Buddies-Harper and Matt
Our three boys
We headed back to my parents for a night to make the drive better and to pick up Cassie.  Holden also needed to plant his tree.  All the grandkids plant a tree when they are three.
Everyone helping
So proud
Hudson always thinks he is a big kid!
Watering the newly planted tree
Yay! It's done!
Poppy and some of his grandkids
Harper with his tree

And when he was three when he planted it!
One of my favorite picture of them, when they were watering the new tree and themselves!
We had a great trip and we loved visiting with so many friends and family, but after our drive home, it might be awhile until we go back!  Just kidding, it was rough, but we'll still do it again!
